Cllr. Jenny Chandler for Great Baddow West

I have lived in Great Baddow for 41 years and have two grown up sons and two grandchildren.  Both my sons were educated locally at Sandon School, and during that time I served as Deputy Chairman of Governors.

Now retired, I held various administrative roles in Chelmsford and London.

I was honoured to have been elected as the Conservative County Councillor for Great Baddow and Galleywood in 2013.  I currently serve on the People & Families Scrutiny Committee and am also a member of the Fire Authority.  Last year I was re-elected as a Chelmsford City Councillor for Great Baddow West.

I hold regular monthly surgeries on the second Saturday of the month in Great Baddow Library. You don’t need to make an appointment, and I am always there to meet with residents, listen and help where I can.  My community and neighbours are very important to me and the quality of life for residents is my top priority.
