Essex Police are receiving an additional 18.8 million in Government funding to support more Police Officers and fulfil the Conservative pledge to recruit 20,000 police officers nationally by 2023.
Since May 2016 Essex Police, will see an overall growth of 703 Essex Police Officers all working in communities to keep people safe.
In addition Chelmsford's Bunny Walks is to receive £550,000 from the Home Office Safer Streets Fund to improve the area and several other projects in the City aimed at Public Safety.
